The Roots – Rising Down Album Art

16 03 2008

This is going to be the album cover for the new Roots offering. I think its pretty cool, I have a special little link below that will take you to the magical world of Eskay, and you will be able to play an embedded flash player with some true fire on it. Enjoy.

Rza ft. Inspectah Deck – You Can’t Stop Me Now

10 03 2008

Of Rza’s upcoming release as altar ego “Bobby Digital”, “Digi Snacks“, I believe this cut was a scrap from the 8 Diagrams LP. The beat is smooth and very consistent with the sounds displayed in the 8 Diagrams.

Teyana Taylor – Google Me feat. 6th Sense

27 02 2008

The beat is fire.

6th is fire.

Ms. Taylor [Borat] “Not so much”      (Sharebee is the Shiznit) Click Link and Enjoy.

If I understand correctly, the track is an unofficial remix. I, for one, will be hoping and praying that this will get picked up for the boy 6th. Teyana Taylor is the Harlem chick from MTV’s Sweet Sixteen, who happens to be signed to Star Trak (The Neptunes label for the hermits). Furthermore, if “Skateboard P” doesent pick this one up, there will probably be some sort of remix with [insert corny rapper’s name here] ruining the beat.

In conclusion, if anyone reading this has any sort of pull with Pharrell or Chad, tell them to spare us the “Gorilla Zoe” feature on this one, and stick with NY’s own.

End of transmission.
